Organic Products (OGA)

With the improvement of living standards and upgraded consumption concepts, green, environmentally friendly, and sustainable consumption concepts have taken root in people's minds. Consumer demand for healthy and safe organic products is growing, and the domestic organic industry is developing rapidly. However, production scale still cannot meet market demand, and the supply-demand gap continues to widen. At the same time, China's emphasis on food safety is steadily increasing. Developing the organic industry has become an important way to prevent agricultural pollution and achieve sustainable development, and can also effectively increase producers' incomes.

Organic products (OGA) refer to products whose production, processing, and sales process fully meets China's national organic product standards, without the use of chemically synthesized pesticides, fertilizers, or genetically engineered products, intended for human consumption and animal consumption. Organic product certification is a conformity assessment activity approved by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration, carried out in accordance with GB/T 19630 "Requirements for Production, Processing, Labeling, and Management Systems of Organic Products," "Administrative Measures for Organic Product Certification," and "Implementation Rules for Organic Product Certification." All organic products sold domestically must pass this certification.

Certification covers plants, livestock and poultry farming, processing (organic content ≥95%), aquaculture, etc., with plant production requiring a 24 to 36-month transition period. Certified products can be marked with organic certification marks and a 17-digit organic code. By scanning the code, authenticity can be checked in the "China Food and Agricultural Product Certification Information System," achieving full lifecycle traceability, providing consumers with reliable quality assurance, helping enterprises capture the organic market, and demonstrating compliance strength.
