The energy management system starts from the whole process of the system, follows the principles of system management, and establishes a complete, effective and documented energy management system within the organization through the implementation of a complete set of standards and specifications, focusing on the control of the establishment and implementation process. , to continuously optimize the activities, processes and elements of the organization, through routine energy-saving monitoring, energy audits, energy efficiency benchmarking, internal audits, organizational energy consumption measurement and testing, organizational energy balance statistics, management review, self-evaluation, energy-saving technical transformation , energy-saving assessment and other measures to continuously improve the effectiveness of continuous improvement of the energy management system, realize the energy management policy and commitment and achieve the expected energy consumption or use goals.

The Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the goal of building a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system. The direction of China's energy development strategy has become clear, and the energy revolution is accelerating.

The purpose of energy management system is to reduce energy consumption and improve energy utilization efficiency, aiming at energy use or energy consumption in organizational activities, products and services, using systematic thinking and process methods, on the basis of clear objectives, responsibilities, procedures and resource requirements On the basis of comprehensive planning, implementation, inspection and improvement, based on high-efficiency energy-saving products, practical energy-saving technologies and methods, and best management practices, reduce energy consumption and improve energy efficiency. In addition, the management concept of continuous improvement is introduced, and practical methods are adopted to ensure that energy management activities are continuously carried out and the effect of energy saving is continuously maintained and improved. In order to achieve the strategic goal of energy conservation.

ISO 50001 (energy management system) draws on the concepts and ideas of ISO 9000 quality management system and ISO 14000 environmental management system, emphasizes regulating various energy management systems and measures, focuses on identifying and utilizing appropriate energy-saving technologies and methods, and optimal energy management Practice and experience to achieve the purpose of energy saving and emission reduction.

Reminder: The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has released ISO50001:2018, the revised energy management system standard. The transition period for existing certificates is three years. This means that by August 20, 2021, all certificates should be converted to ISO50001:2018 to ensure continued validity. After the transition period, the 2011 version of the certificate is no longer valid.
