Guangdong Jiana received Qingyuan City's first certificate for "Innovation and Intellectual Property Management Capability."

Recently, Guangdong Jiana Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guangdong Jiana"), leveraging its outstanding innovation capabilities and standardized management, successfully obtained the Level 1 evaluation certificate for "Innovation and Intellectual Property Management Capability" based on ISO 56005 issued by Shenzhen Huakai Inspection and Certification Co., Ltd. This is the first ISO 56005 certificate in Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, making Guangdong Jiana the third enterprise in eastern, western, and northern Guangdong to receive this honor.

On December 31, 2024, the Qingyuan High-Performance New Materials Industry Patent Navigation Achievement Release and Intellectual Property Empowerment Chain Strengthening and Efficiency Enhancement Service Matchmaking Event was held in Qingyuan High-tech Zone. At the event, Xie Hong, First-level Inspector of the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision Administration (Intellectual Property Office), presented Guangdong Jiana with the Level 1 certificate for "Innovation and Intellectual Property Management Capability" based on ISO 56005.

Guangdong Jiana was established in October 2003. It is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, production, and sales of high-end drilling salts and ternary precursors. It is a green manufacturing enterprise with a full life cycle of cobalt resources, a national-level "Little Giant" enterprise, a national technology innovation demonstration enterprise, a national intellectual property advantage enterprise, and a service-oriented manufacturing demonstration enterprise under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

On December 18, 2024, Guangdong Cana entered the formal evaluation phase of the graded evaluation index system for innovation and intellectual property management capability. The Huakai formal evaluation team conducted in-depth and detailed assessments of Guangdong Cana's strategic management capabilities, basic management capability, process management capability, innovation output, and intellectual property utilization capability, based on ISO 56005 "Hierarchical Evaluation Index System for Innovation and Intellectual Property Management Capability" and relevant laws and regulations. Through formal evaluation, Guangdong Cana can more accurately identify its strengths and weaknesses in innovation and intellectual property management, thereby formulating an innovation and intellectual property strategy aligned with the company's development direction, laying a solid foundation for future innovation and growth.

The international standard "Innovation Management - Intellectual Property Management Guidelines (ISO 56005)" was initiated first in China and formally initiated through ISO to draft and formulate the first international standard related to innovation and intellectual property management. This standard is guided by the realization of innovation value, insists on the deep integration of innovation management and intellectual property, embeds intellectual property management activities throughout the innovation process, and comprehensively improves innovation efficiency, quality, and effectiveness by clarifying the objectives, methods, and paths of intellectual property management during the innovation process.
