Intellectual property management system certification refers to the conformity assessment activities in which the certification body certifies that the intellectual property management system and intellectual property services of legal persons or other organizations conform to relevant national standards or technical specifications.

Systematic: The enterprise intellectual property management system is a whole system, not only a certain aspect of R&D or production, but also a subsystem of enterprise management, running through the entire link of enterprise R&D, production, procurement, sales, import and export, etc.

Professionalism: According to statistics from the State Intellectual Property Office and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, from the implementation of my country's Patent Law in 1985 to 2005, only about 1.4% of domestic enterprises have filed patent applications. As a specialized knowledge system, many intellectual property cultural concepts, institutional norms, and business management models still need to be improved. The enterprise intellectual property management system reflects the characteristics of construction, management and responsibility based on professional institutions and professionals.

Diversity: Every enterprise has its own speciality. Enterprises with different industries, different types, different businesses, different missions and concepts have different intellectual property management systems. Although the enterprise intellectual property management system has the common characteristics of being systematic and professional, there will never be a unified and correct intellectual property management system or model in the world.
